Sarah Behbehani to Step Down as SVP LNG of JERA Global Markets

JERA Global Markets today announced that Sarah Behbehani, Senior Vice President LNG, has decided to leave the Company to focus on personal matters. Justin Rowland, Managing Director LNG, will take over the running of the JERAGM LNG business in the interim.

Kazunori Kasai, JERA Global Markets CEO, said: “Sarah is an exceptional business leader who has been instrumental in the successful launch of the JERAGM LNG business. Her clear leadership has brought the JERAGM LNG business to a successful launch and she has built a solid team and strong basis to carry it forward.  Sarah will continue to provide advisory support to JERAGM as the Company transitions to a new leadership structure in the LNG team. I would like to personally, and on behalf of the shareholders, thank Sarah for her contribution and to wish her the best in her future endeavours.

Justin has held a variety of senior roles in EDF Trading including Chief Commercial Officer – Trading, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial and Risk Officer. Justin will bring his extensive experience of managing trading desks and the application of associated front office risk techniques in leading the LNG team through the transition.”

Sarah Behbehani said: “I have decided to take a break to focus on my personal priorities. I am proud of the successful launch of JERAGM, and very pleased with what we have achieved since then. It was an amazing journey. I am grateful to have had this experience, and I wish the JERAGM LNG team ongoing success.”
